About the authors of the JERICHO E-usage dataset

The Chair for Energy System Economics (FCN-ESE) at RWTH Aachen University is a member of the E.ON Energy Research Centers. FCN-ESE is part of the Institute for Future Energy Consumer Needs and Behavior (FCN) and JARA ENERGY.

Headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Aaron Praktiknjo, the FCN-ESE team develops solutions to energy system related issues around the energy policy goals of economic efficiency, security of supply and environmental compatibility at the interface between economics and engineering.

Current research topics of the FCN-ESE team include the security of energy supply in the context of the energy transition, the design of energy markets, life cycle analyses of technologies, and consumer behavior in the energy system. For this purpose, various data-driven models and methods are used, such as probabilistic simulation models, optimization models, input-output analyses, or Monte Carlo analyses for life cycle assessment.
